Montgomery SWCD receives financial, administrative, and technical support from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Soil and Water Conservation.  Also, The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture,  provides engineering assistance and other technical services through the District Conservationist.  In Montgomery County, these agencies have offices in the same building as Montgomery SWCD, along with the Farm Services Agency (FSA); this arrangement is referred to as co-location.
