Farm Service Agency

The Farm Service Agency is one of many agencies within the U. S. Department of Agriculture.  Offices at the county level are designed to allow local administration of federal agriculture programs.  In Montgomery County, farmers elect three members to a County Committee, which helps make some of the decisions about how to apply federal programs here.  The current members of the County Committee are Ora Klepinger, Billy Rogers, and Cathy Garber.  The minority advisor is Avery Watson.
