Project Description

The Kingrey Main and East  Project is located in Perry Township, Sections 7, 18, and 19.  It is approximately 13,507 feet long, drains 1,087 acres (watershed size), benefitting 94 parcels of land.  Construction was completed 5/31/85, at a cost of $36,171.79.  Cost share funds reduced that amount by $11,361.59.  The estimated cost to reconstruct this project today is $85,000.00.  Ditch maintenance plans for 2003 and project funding are as follows.

A. 2003 Project Maintenance  

1. Treat ditch banks for woody vegetation and noxious weeds.  Treat cattails as needed.
    Estimated cost, $1,300.00

2. Ditch mowing.  Estimated cost, $800.00

3. Replace seven outlet pipes.  Estimated cost, $2,100.00

4. Clean out ditch bottom.  Estimated cost, $2,000.00
