Project Description:

The Marshall-Sweet Potato Project is located in Clay Township, Sections 3, 10, 11, 14, and 15.  It is approximately 20,947 feet long, drains 826 acres (watershed size), benefitting 120 parcels of land.  Construction was completed 10/13/97 at a cost of $331,870.30.  Cost share funds reduced that amount by $35,772.00.  Ditch maintenance plans for 2003 and project funding are as follows.

A. 2003 Project Maintenance  

   1. Treat ditch banks for woody vegetation and noxious weeds.  Treat cattails as needed.
       Estimated cost: $500.00.

   2. Ditch mowing.  Estimated cost: $500.00
