Montgomery Soil and Water Conservation District

Helping People and Communities Care for Land and Water

This is an annual spring fund raiser for the District's Education program.  It also is a cost effective way for homeowners to implement conservation-conscious landscaping. The important aspect of using plants native to Ohio, is that not only can you create an aesthetically pleasing surrounding, but also provide food and shelter for native species of birds, butterflies and other beneficial insects.  Furthermore, once established, native plant communities require little or no maintenance in terms of weeding, fertilizers, pesticides, or watering.

If you would like to be added to the plant sale mailing list please send your name and address to cheryl.barkalow@oh.nacdnet.net or your email address to felicia.schirack@oh.nacdnet.net.
