Project Description:

The project is located in Clay Township Sections 5, 6, 8, and 9.  It is approximately 17,958 feet long, and drains 1,319 acres (watershed size), benefitting 53 parcels of land.  Construction was completed 9/19/97, at a cost of $153.617.72.  Cost share funds reduced that amount by $17,068.64.  Ditch maintenance plans for 2003 and project funding are as follows.

A. 2003 Maintenance

   1. Treat banks for woody vegetation and noxious weeds. Treat cattails as needed.
       Estimated cost: $1500.00

   2. Ditch mowing.  Estimated cost: $800.00

   3. Reseed banks and install three berm drains.  Estimated cost: $2000.00
