Project Description:

The Tom's Run project is located in Perry Township and Clay Township, Sections 5, 6, 29, 30, 31, and 32.  It is approximately 13,545 feet long, and drains 1,622 acres (watershed size), benefitting 108 parcels of land.  Construction was completed 5/14/92, at a cost of $64,023.98.  There was no cost sharing on the project.  The estimated cost to reconstruct this project today is $120,750.00.  Ditch maintenance plans for 2003 and project funding are as follows.

A. 2003 Project Maintenance 

   1. Treat ditch bank for woody vegetation and noxious weeds.  Treat cattails as needed.
       Estimated cost: $1500.

   2. Ditch mowing.  Estimated cost: $850.
