Project Description

The Wysong project is located in Perry Township, Sections 17, 18, 19, 20, 29, and 30.  It is approximately 7,422 feet long, drains 915 acres (watershed size), benefitting 60 parcels of land.  Construction was completed 3/30/87 at a cost of $81,142.92.  Cost share funds reduced that amount by $44,137.60.  The estimated cost to reconstruct this project today is $107,000.00.  Ditch maintenance plans for 2003 and project funding are as follows.

A. 2003 Project Maintenance  

   1. Treat ditch bank for woody vegetation and noxious weeds.  Treat cattails as needed.
       Estimated cost: $750.

   2. Ditch mowing.  Estimated cost: $350.

   3. Replace four outlet pipes.  Estimated cost $1200.
